Vice President of the Foundation in Support of Local Democracy
Mr Krzysztof Lutostański is one of the leading experts in Poland in the sphere of local self-government. He graduated from Main School of Planning and Statistics – the best economic university in Poland.
Since 2009 he is Vice President of the Foundation in Support of Local Democracy, the main and the most experienced Polish institute and think – tank that deals with the issues of local self-government, its concept, aims, theory and practice, led by Mr Jerzy Regulski, the undoubted Author and a founding father of the system of local self-government introduced and implemented in Poland.
Mr Lutostanski has as well outstanding professional experience, including insurance companies, pension funds and banking. He was the President of Bankowy Pension Fund; co-founder and member of management board of Chamber of Commerce of Pension Funds and Founder and President of life-insurance company Compensa-Zycie SA.
His CV includes as well long period of activity on the governmental positions, including vice-President of central Statistical Office;
He is the Author or co-Author of a number of research papers, focusing in recent years on the economic aspects of local self-government, working closely with Mr Jerzy Regulski.
